The new visual makes Howard the focus with her band. Howard’s been busy since her band the Alabama Shakes released Sound & Color in 2015. In 2017 she became a singer in the band Bermuda Triangle and last year the Alabama Shakes won their fourth Grammy for their contribution to The American Epic Sessions. Howard’s solo album will come out September 30th.

Alabama Shakes frontwoman Brittany Howard got to share the stage with headliner Paul McCartney during Lollapalooza in Chicago this past Friday and together they sang “Get Back.” The Alabama Shakes had performed earlier in the day and McCartney brought Howard to the stage as a surprise for the crowd so he is clearly a fan of her band. McCartney also gave his first live performance of the Rihanna, Kanye West collaboration “FourFiveSeconds.”
