Black Public Media’s Be Heard! campaign is designed to engage voters around the topics of policing and the Black community, the importance of voting, political action and reparations. Big Freedia Bounces Back is returning in September for the sixth season. The changes taking place in Freedia’s life has kept her fans engaged with all the ups and downs. Last season she got a new manager, worked with Beyonce, dealt with Mississippi’s anti-Twerking laws and the charge for federal housing violations.

Freedia has also collaborated with legendary Cash Money Records producer Mannie Fresh on the new song “Dive On That B*tch” and they will release a Bounce Back mixtape later this week.
