Amaria makes sure to deliver something for summer playlists before the season is over with “Dream Of You.” The soft-spoken chanteuse expresses her feelings with classic grooves in the vein of ’90s soul. She also lent her voice to Solomon Fox’s “Fallin Back,” and both songs are her latest, as it was almost a year ago when she released her third album, Free Fallin.

Solomon Fox and Amaria have connected for the endless groove that is “Fallin’ Back.” Together they express the hazy feelings of a love that continues to pulse despite previous efforts to separate. Fox wrote and produced “Fallin’ Back” in his bedroom and has included the single on his debut album, Sweettooth. It was a five-year journey to arrive at Sweettooth, with Fox racking up collaborations with Thundercat, Smino, Duckwrth, and more as he continued to work on his solo music. Amaria and Fox make a gentle duo surrendering to love with soulful whispers inside the single that epitomizes Quiet Storm radio. Sweettooth emerges in October with appearances from Duckwrth, Mai Anna, and Samm Henshaw. Until then, check out “Fallin’ Back” and Fox’s 2021 mixtape, Solomon. 

Singer-songwriter and producer Amaria shares “Finer Things'” from her debut album, Free Fallin.’The Tampa, Florida native has the ’90s stamped all over her sound with breathy and measured notes suggestive of Aaliyah’s low-key swag. Since her emergence with the single “Morning” in 2020, she has released the Bittersweet EP in 2021 and the All For You EP in 2022. Amaria describes Free Fallin‘ in a press release: “The main theme of the album, represented by the name, is the idea of going through different life experiences with no safety net. Letting life take you whichever way it wants—essentially ‘free falling.'” Previously released singles, “Beggin” and “Back To Me” are included on Free Fallin’s tracklisting.
