Janelle Monáe’s Make Me Feel Gets Two New Remixes

Janelle Monáe continues to create excitement around the upcoming release of her Dirty Computer album. The videos for “Make Me Feel” and “Django Jane” created a happy hysteria and eagerness to hear all of her new music. Today, “Make Me Feel” gets EDM and house remixes courtesy of EDX and Kaskade. Dirty Computer comes out April 27th but until then Monáe wants her fans to be present and dance.

Seven Davis Jr. Remixes Lion Babe’s Honey Dew

[youtube id=”1A3Vr7tQtBA”] Seven Davis Jr.’s remix of Lion Babe’s “Honey Dew” is focused on a club atmosphere unlike the relaxed tone of the original. The new version comes right after the duo just released the song’s video. Davis’s production clicks with Lion Babe’s overall vibe and “Honey Dew” gains double status for being an oasis on the dancefloor and sounds for listening everywhere else in its first form. 




Larry Heard To Release New Mr. Fingers Album

Larry Heard who is also known in the house music world as Mr. Fingers has announced a new album titled Cerebral Hemispheres.  It is his first full-length album as Mr. Fingers in almost 25 years. The 18-song album will be released April 13th on Heard’s Alleviated Records. “Electron” is from Cerebral Hemispheres and it is an early preview of the album that is available for pre-order now.
