Stalley Headlining NYC Concert February 21st

Maybach Music Group recording artist Stalley will be headlining a concert on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at Dominion NY in New York City. Presented by Karmaloop and Karmaloop TV, the concert also features performances from emerging hip-hop artists Kris Kasanova, The Boy Illinois and Moruf.

The Ohio rapper, whose last major performance in New York City was at Irving Plaza for Sneaker Pimps in November, is preparing for the release of his new mixtape Savage Journey to the American Dream later this month. To promote the new project, Stalley is releasing an offering of songs entitled Songs By Me, Stalley featuring production from DJ Toomp, Ski Beatz. and more. The newest track, released today, is “God’s Child.”

With his Maybach Music/Warner Brothers major label debut in the the works in addition to touring extensively, Stalley is ready to continue the Maybach Music winning streak, which featured a successful second album from Wale and numerous anthems from Rick Ross and Meek Mill in 2011.

Black History Month Gala Honors Tre Armstrong


Choreographer, Actress, Dancer and Mentor, Tre Armstrong will receive the prestigious “Success, Engagement, Empowerment Award” at the 3rd Annual Black History Month Gala, Saturday, February 4, 2012, in Ottawa. This prestigious award is given to those who reach out and make a difference in communities around the world and at home. Ms. Armstrong epitomizes these values. The “So You Think You Can Dance Canada” Judge works tirelessly through the Tre Armstrong Give Back Foundation, teaching youth through dance and workshops the importance of feeling good about themselves, not letting the past hold them hostage, but allowing the future to set them free. Tre’s vision, spirit and strength are a guiding light to those around her, at home and abroad. Ms. Armstrong is deeply honored and humbled to receive this award. Other guests will include the 27th Governor General of Canada, Her Excellency the Right Honorable Michaelle Jean, Mr. Jean- Daniel Lafond and his Royal Highness, Prince Seeiso Bereng Seeiso of Lesotho. The always-busy Ms. Armstrong, will return to the nations capital to take part in Fashion Week. 19th Annual Little Miss African American Scholarship Pageant Celebrates Black History

Los Angeles – The Little Miss African American Scholarship Pageant celebrates Black History Month 2012 with this year’s event slated for be held Sunday, February 12, 2012, 4:00 p.m. at the Wishire Ebell Theater, 4401 Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angeles. The longest running pageant for little African American misses, the scholarship event has a history of dedication to continuing a legacy of nurturing young girls into proud and intelligent young women. The original creation of actress/ choreographer Lisa Ruffin, The Little Miss African American Scholarship pageant has consistently emphasized brains over beauty, positively impacting the lives of thousands of impressionable little women for 19 years now!
