Trey Songz Presents “Songz For Peace”

Songbook Entertainment/Atlantic recording artist Trey Songz has teamed with entrepreneur/philanthropist Noonie G. Ward to present “Songz for Peace – An Attempt To Save Our Youth One City at a Time,” a panel discussion and free concert to be held August 5th at Chicago’s Lindblom High School. The mission of “Songz for Peace” is to educate and empower urban youth on the importance of choices.

The free concert will include performances by Adero Neely, Ben 1, Phoenix Phenom, Tha Pope, Vi, and of course, the Prince of R&B himself, Trey Songz. In addition, there will be appearances by such stars as Quentin Richardson, Eddie Curry, Jackie Long, and Maestro Harrell.

In other news, “Missin You,” the latest video from Trey’s 2007 breakthrough sophomore album, “TREY DAY,” has just premiered at www.myspace.com/treysongz. The video — directed by Zipper On Butta-Fly Leather – is shaping up as a huge hit, having quickly drawn over half-a-million streams. “Missin You” can also be viewed at Trey’s official site, www.treysongz.com, as well as at www.imeem.com/treysongz, and www.youtube.com/treysongz.

“Missin You” follows three previous hit singles from “TREY DAY,” including “Wonder Woman,” “Last Time,” and “Can’t Help But Wait,” which topped the Urban Mainstream chart earlier this year.

Group Home’s Lil Dap Speaks On His History With Biggie, Guru & More “I.A.Dap” Solo Debut In Stores August 5th!!

A founding member of legendary hip-hop crew Group Home, Lil Dap is a
product of the renowned New York mid-nineties “golden age” of hip-hop
that spawned such classic groups as M.O.P., Gang Starr & many more.
Group Home’s widely hailed release, “Living Proof,” solidified Dap as
a frontrunner of this widely renowned and respected era and has since
seen him touring the world in preparation for his highly anticipated
solo debut, “I.A.DAP,” which streets on August 5th and features Guru

India.Arie’s Broadway Debut Postponed



Eurweb is reporting that India.Arie’s broadway debut has been postponed because a backer pulled out.
