Noname’s “Squatter” featuring DRAM is about a very common situation. The rapper tells a story about a squatter moving into her home while she was on tour. She ultimately had to get her friends to remove the person. Noname makes a very hard situation sound like a simple inconvenience because of her usual acing of the rhythmic flow. “Squatter” is the second single from Noname’s forthcoming Cartoon Radio mixtape. Almost a year ago she shared the first single, “100 Acres.” On July 31st she will go on tour of North America to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of her debut album, Telefone.
