Philly’s own Tierra Whack has released her WHACK’s MUSEUM mixtape. Whack raps endlessly on 12 songs produced by Conductor Williams. She champions pure lyricism and despite the quickness of the tape her bars seem to never end. Her wordplay becomes a breath less exhibition centered on the basic foundation of rap. The songs have a continuity that sounds deceptively simple but reveals Whack’s bountiful rap skills. Her visual for “Siren” is another snapshot of Philadelphia’s Black community and a nod to Juneteenth, the day she released the tape.
