Flying Lotus dons his Captain Murphy alter ego for “Mudhole.” The song is included on the soundtrack to the Lionsgate film, The Furious. Little Snake produced the brooding track that has Flying Lotus sounding like a villain. The music is a fitting companion to the story about revenge enacted with martial arts. The Furious will be in theaters on June 12th, and Flying Lotus, who just released the Big Mama EP, is getting ready for residencies at the Blue Note on both coasts.
