Houston, Texas, R&B group Sentury ends a year of wins with their single “Forever” making the number 13 spot on the R&B Airplay chart and making Billboard’s list of Top R&B songs of 2025. The group upped their visibility with a cover of Jeffrey Osborne’s “Only Human” that went viral and hit number one on Billboard’s Adult R&B chart early in the year. The quartet started in 2011 after singing in church together as teenagers. They decided to leave and go independent after group member Leo founded Gateway Records. The change gave them full control of their creative decisions, and that freedom has allowed them to make music they believe in. Their presence fills a void left by R&B groups of previous generations. The success of “Forever” has given them a total of nine songs to hit the charts and share what they call “grown man R&B.”
