Omar has recorded his first XMAs single with “That Time Again” featuring Charlene Hamilton. His longtime collaborator and brother Scratch Professor produced “That Time Again.” Omar performs his signature soul surrounded by jazzy piano and subtle tinkly bells with warm crackly vinyl sounds. There are just enough familiar Christmas song sounds from the past infused into his new original to give “That Time Again” an instant classic feeling. The single signals the completion of an excellent year for Omar that included the release of Brighter The Days, two US tours, a Tiny Desk concert and an appearance on Later…With Jools Holland.
