Incognito debuts the first song from their next album with the jazz instrumental “Back On The Beach.” The single captures the last minutes of summer led by Charlie Allen’s supple guitar work and soft background vocals from founder and leader Bluey. Into You is their 19th album and it is being released this year which marks their 44th anniversary as a group. Into You features the work of newcomer Allen as well as drummer Francesco Mendolia and percussionist Joao Caetanoe. Veteran actor and musician Max Beesley plays vibes on the track “Close To Midnight.” Chicco Allotta is their new keyboard player and is also the lead vocalist on the song “1993.”The ever-changing members of the collective have worked for the band through the years because Bluey has never lost sight of their musical direction that started with him pioneering the Acid Jazz movement in the UK. It was five years ago when they released Tomorrow’s New Dream and they have no intentions of stopping. Bluey says, “I’m a man on a mission and music is my only weapon.” Into You is dropping on October 20th via Shanachie Entertainment.
