Queen Latifah and Naughty By Nature emerged in 1989. Redman previously worked as a DJ with Lords Of The Underground in 1990 and their album dropped in 1993. The Fugees and Artifacts debuted in 1994. Whut? Thee Album was embraced as an instant classic and went Gold by 1993. “Time 4 Sum Askion” has been used in movies and is considered one of the major hip-hop songs of the ’90s. J.Dilla sampled “Time 4 Sum Askion” for Slum Village’s “Forth and Back.”
