Talib Kweli and Madlib have released their Liberation 2 album exclusively on Luminary. The 10-year project is their call for unity and to dispel all the materialism in rap music. There are appearances from Q-Tip, Jessica Care More, Seun Kuti and more. They have also dropped the video for “Best Year Ever” to kick off the party. Liberation 2 is the sequel to their 2007 Liberation album.
