Benny Sings is getting ready for the release of his eighth album Young Hearts in the spring. The Dutch singer-songwriter worked with producer Kenny Beats to make what he hopes is his biggest record yet. Beasts is known for his work with rappers Vince Staples, Freddie Gibbs and Rico Nasty. The first single from Young Hearts is the title track and Sings has shared the video. The pop singer has been an underground favorite since he released Champagne People in 2003. On Young Hearts he had this to say,
“Young Hearts” is one of my favorite songs on the album. Kenny started producing and added Remi Wolf in the chorus. This song is one of the rare occasions where I’m singing in third person, which I really love. It’s about two young people getting addicted to crack – not autobiographical.”
Young Hearts will be released on March 24th and Sings will go on a European tour that same day.
