Mahogany Jones Releases Better Album Stream

Mahogany Jones breaks the silence of two years after the release of Floating with the arrival of Better. The emcee is back in the depths of soul mining with unbridled lyricism rhyming about spirituality, ancestry, relationships and humble bragging about her microphone presence.  She flows mainly in a ’90s Golden Era range with a small dose of trap-styled triplets. Tiffany Gouche, Macklyn, Dre Marshall and K-$OUL, Kane Wave and Donyeá take over the guest spots. Jones excels at rapping about the world without pretension by making sure the head-nodding quality is never compromised. “Strong Friends/Weak Friends” and “You Got This” are finalists in the Rap Category for the 2022 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Better really is Jones at her best thanks to her leveled-up wisdom, indestructible verses, and soul-laced production. Stream Better below and stay tuned for more from Mahogany Jones.
