Sillygirlcarmen Drops Bad Blues Remix With Karizma

Sillygirlcarmen’s second release of the summer “Bad Blues” gets a Bluer remix by Baltimore producer and DJ  Karizma. The deep house track started out with a dizzying synthesizer creating a mild psychedelic feeling. Carmen’s vocals are deeper inside the arrangement on the original but the remix has less adornment. Karizma removes the moody synth and in its place is a continual shaker drum rhythm interjected with dramatic note stabs. The invitation to the dancefloor builds with each cycle. Longtime British producer and DJ Atjazz mastered the single. The duo unveiled the track at a Charivari afterparty in Detroit after playing their individual sets at the festival. Carmen’s artistry is growing on this late summer release and her third overall. Fans of the less frenetic side of house music will be able to connect.
