Her presence is illuminated by the painted on hues covering her body in wearable art courtesy of artist Michael Ross. The Detroit native’s vocals have just enough pop overtones to provide an easy singalong quality but the beat keeps the single grounded in her dancefloor intentions. Carmen and production partner John Zott wrote “Try” together and it debuts today on legendary indie label Nervous Records.
