Bruno Mars and anderson.paak’s R&B partnership as Silk Sonic made their Billboard Music Awards debut with a performance of Con Funk Shun’s 1983 classic “Love’s Train.” The duo took over the stage in their ’70s attire and gave one of the night’s best performances. They had nominations for Top R&B Album, Top R&B Song, Top R&B Artist and Top Duo/Group. They did not win but Mars took home one award for Top R&B Tour for his Park MGM Grand residency.
