Hiatus Kaiyote’s Mood Variant has been remixed in time for a Spring release date. Nick Hakim, Salami Rose and Stro Elliot are a few of the producers to have their versions on the Grammy-nominated album. Hakim’s trippy handling of “Red Room” and Georgia Anne Muldrow’s funktastic arrangement of “Get Sun” are available to hear now. The Melbourne natives are touring this year and they make their road debut this weekend in Brooklyn at Brooklyn Steel. They will also perform at the Smokin’ Grooves Festival in Los Angeles on March 19th. In August they will share the stage with Flying Lotus and Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. The group’s European tour will start at the end of September and tickets are on sale. The Mood Variant album of remixes officially comes out April 18th.
