Starz celebrated the premiere of the new crime drama BMF at the Cellairis Theater in Atlanta last night. Executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson was there along with members of the cast and guests. BMF is the story of the Black Mafia Family who became infamous for running a huge illegal drug enterprise in Detroit and Atlanta during the late ’80s until the early 2000s. Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory and his brother Terry “Southwest T” Flenory founded BMF. Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. stars as his father in the series and he attended the premiere.Â
Snoop Dogg, who has a recurring role, was there with his wife Shante Broadus and performed the show’s theme song “Wish Me Luck” with 50 Cent and rapper Moneybagg Yo. Angie Stone, Monica and Anthony Hamilton were among the guests to hit the red carpet. BMF will debut on Starz Sunday, September 26th right after the season finale of Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
