The Mighty Capeech Sees Survival On New Single Block Talk

The Mighty Capeech narrates a day of urban madness on his current single “Block Talk.” His lyrics are spit out like a maze describing how hard it is to get to the other side amongst oppressive police officers, little education and racism. He elevates the odds of survival by saying the name of Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie who Marcus Garvey prophesized and said would become a Black king in Africa. The tempered snare, video game blips, moody bass and guitar refrain makes Capeech’s rap sound like movie music instead of an addition to a solo album.
