Watch London-based chanteuse Tora-i give an acoustic performance of her single “Serial.” The singer’s Cavalier EP came out in 2020 and “Serial” is her first release this year. Will Beach and Tora directed the video that has her singing while sitting against a background outfitted with vivid colors. She explained the setting in a press release:
“After releasing my debut project Cavalier in the midst of the pandemic like everyone I haven’t been able to perform. So this was my version of a home performance, but glam.“

“Serial” is a song about growth and self-discovery after the ending of a relationship. Tora-i expresses the toll of those emotional changes with gloom and clarity.Â

Tora’s previous video for “Call Your Name” was a collaboration with Nigerian designers Motherlan in partnership with Converse and it was filmed on security cameras around London.Â
