Arthur Lee’s Love has new EP coming out in time for Record Store Day. Lee, who passed in 2006,  pioneered psychedelic rock in the ’60s with his band Love at the same time Jimi Hendrix emerged. Their Forever Changes album is a mainstay on critics’ lists of seminal rock albums that continue to influence artists through the generations. Everybody’s Gotta Live is a limited release that has five songs from the 2014 reissue of the Real To Reel album. Three of those songs are original compositions by Lee including “You Gotta Feel It,” “Do It Yourself” and “I Gotta Remember.” The late rapper Mac Miller covered “Everybody’s Gotta Live” and it appeared on the posthumous album Circles. There will be 2500 copies of Everybody’s Gotta Live available on July 17th which is Record Store Day. Fans can check out the RSD website to find local independent retailers who will have the EP.
