Daptone Records Celebrates 20th Anniversary With Live Album

Daptone Records will celebrate its 20th anniversary with the release of The Daptone Super Soul Revue Live At The Apollo.  The album features performances from Charles Bradley, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Antibalas, Como Mamas, Naomi Shelton, Sugarman 3, The Budos Band, Saun & Starr and The Menahan Street Band. Jones’ “Get Up Get Out” is from the 3LP set of music from the revue’s three nights at the theater. The three-piece vinyl set comes with a 48-page booklet that has backstage and onstage photographs. Daptone’s 20th anniversary is bittersweet because Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley, Naomi Shelton and Cliff Driver have all passed since that night at the Apollo in 2014. The Daptone Super Soul Revue will be released on all digital platforms October 1st and can be pre-ordered now.
