Little Simz makes her directing debut with the video for “Woman” featuring Cleo Sol. The clip celebrates women’s accomplishments and beauty with appearances from Jourdan Dunn, Joy Crookes, and Denai Moore. Model Sienna King, Little Simz’s friend, is also present along with the rapper’s cousins Paij and Caroline. The glamour of their look is enhanced by the exclusive styling of Gucci. “Woman” is the second single from her forthcoming Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. On describing the mood of “Woman” she made a statement:
“I love it when I see women doing their thing and looking flawless; I’m here for that! It’s empowering, it’s inspiring; I wanted to say thank you and I wanted to celebrate them.â€
Sometimes I Might Be Introvert follows Little Simz’s 2019 debut album GREY Area. Her sophomore effort will be released in the fall.
