Claire Reneé’s “Honey” is a springtime blast before the season fully comes into being. She uses her jazz background to add another layer to the R&B tune which will be on her forthcoming. The message is straightforward as she says,Â
“Honey†is a love letter to the one who shows you and reminds you that you are not hard to love. Sometimes past relationships with people who made you feel like you were “too much†or in some way asking for a lot, make you feel like there is something wrong with you. Then you find people who remind you that love can be sweet, smooth, and beautiful because they are choosing to really see you and love what’s there in front of them.â€
Wings is the title of her forthcoming album which is all about relationships. “Honey” is the second preview of the full-length coming out later this year. She previously released “I’m Tired” also on the tracklisting for Wings.Â
