Nate Parker’s American Skin has new artwork designed by Gravillis that adds to the onscreen story. Parker wrote, directed and stars in the film about a Black Iraqi veteran who can’t get justice from the system after his only child is murdered by a white police officer. Things become unbearable for Parker’s character and he decides to get his own justice in an unorthodox but chilling way. Parker used the killing of Mike Brown in Missouri in 2014 for direction in the story. It was the division between protestors advocating for Brown and those defending the police that further inspired the film. Omari Hardwick, Vanessa Bell Calloway and Milauna Jackson star in the movie. American Skin will be a VOD release scheduled for a January 15th debut.Â
