Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and Babyface connect for a new single “He Don’t Know Nothin’ Bout It.” The song is part of the much-awaited Jam and Lewis Vol. 1 album. The slow romantic music is led by Babyface’s blunt admonishment of lying wanna be partners to his love interest. The intense sound is underscored by the humor of his lyrics as the song fills the air with intimate intentions. Jam and Lewis have produced hits for so many others for the past three decades. It is a longtime curiosity from the fans to want to hear an album of them as the starring artists. Babyface is his own powerhouse with a stash of indestructible songs that earned him legendary status. Last year he presented Jam and Lewis with the Icon honor at the Soul Train Awards. Of the current tune with Babyface, Jam and Lewis stated; “This is one everybody’s been asking for but never thought they’d see. You know Kenny’s [Babyface] voice the second you hear it, and he blessed the track with an incredible performance. It’s been a long time in the making and we cannot wait for everybody to hear it.†Jam and Lewis Vol. 1 will come out in Spring 2021.Â
