Bradd Marquis drops two new songs ahead of his Love EP release.Always” and his cover of B.B. King’s “The Thrill Is Gone” mark two different moments in his life. The former celebrates his newlywed status and the latter is a tribute to his late grandparents. Guitar virtuoso Marcus Machado is featured on King’s song with Marquis and gives it an extra layer of soul while also recognizing King’s original solo. These cycles of life are part of the New Jersey native’s new EP. He says, “This project has four songs that I wrote in 2007 that I never put out and three new cuts I wrote in the last year. So, it’s crazy to me how well both sets fit my journey to now. The loss of my grandparent, losing the relationship with my son’s mother, having to start over professionally from scratch, and even meeting and falling in love with my new wife, all of that lives in these songs.” Listen to Marquis’s evolution and look for the Love EP to come out in early 2021.
