A series of snippets of conversations between Big Freedia and Roxane Gay, Erika Alexander and comedian Brian Babylon,  Gabourey Sidibe and Ohio State Senator, Nina Turner and political commentators Jehmu Greene and Shermichael Singleton regarding issues affecting the Black community before the election are available on social media platforms Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram and Twitter until November 3rd. Black Public Media’s Be Heard! campaign is designed to engage voters around the topics of policing and the Black community, the importance of voting, political action and reparations. Viewers can engage in the dialogue by following the hashtag #VoteBeHeard and by visiting beheard.
