Jasmine Sullivan surprises with her first new single in a few years with the sad ballad “Lost One.” Sullivan was last heard from in 2017 when she released “Insecure” with Bryson Tiller for Issa Raes HBO TV show of the same name. She also wrote songs for Mary J. Blige’s Strength Of A Woman album that also came out in 2017. Her third solo album, Reality Show, came out in 2015. In 2019, she was featured on anderson.paak’s “Good Heels.” Sullivan has also had appearances on music from Frank Ocean, Sampha, PJ Morton, Mali Music and Niia. “Lost One” has already created anticipation for her next album which has not been announced.Â
