Robert Glasper, 9th Wonder, Kamasi Washington and Terrace Martin have released an album as Dinner Party. The jazz, hip-hop, soul project has a comfort zone between 9th Wonder’s production and the live approach from the musicians and guest singers. The warm vibes of the album address love and the current strife in the country around the response to police brutality. The friends and colleagues chose the Dinner Party moniker to reflect years of friendship, conversations over dinner and working together. Â
