Flying Lotus’s Flamagra (Instrumentals) is coming out later this month. The album’s coterie of vocalists including Denzel Curry, David Lynch and Shabazz Palaces disappears in favor of the wordless soundscapes. The producer’s leaner musical ideas with Robert Glasper, Thundercat, Herbie Hancock and more are at the forefront of the instrumentals listening experience. Last winter the video for “Black Balloons Reprise” came out and the vocal-less version can be streamed on Flying Lotus’s official website as well as the pre-order option for the album.Â
