[youtube id=”sg66q_zePKM”]Damoyee Janai makes her video debut today with the combined visual for “Evolution (Interlude)” and “Change.” The Dallas, Texas native shares an autobiographical journey with video footage of her days as a child pianist to becoming a multi-instrumentalist and singer as a young adult. Janai released her third album The Whole Truth in 2019. All of the songs reveal self-discovery and optimism within her personalized pop stylings. In the video, the camera follows her as she arrives home and gives a solo performance in her studio with keyboards, drums and guitar. She sings for a new beginning that is symbolized by the sun and her driving away to her next destination.Â
