Naya Ali’s Godspeed debut album came out today. The Montreal-based rapper has divided the work into two pieces and the first half is Godspeed: Baptism (Prelude). Ali describes the album as a rebirth and the beginning of a new life. She says, “I feel like I’ve been waiting all my life to be reborn.” The artist was just crowned the Anglophone Musical Artist of the Year at Quebec’s 2020 Dynasty Gala.Â
