The video features her playing with an all-woman band and taking the subway in New York City. The song is part of her new album called The Women Who Raised Me. Springs dedicated all of the music to the women artists she has been inspired by all her life. Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Roberta Flack are a few more of the songstresses Springs honors. She has also fulfilled a dream by recording a duet with Norah Jones of Fitzgeralds’s “Angel Eyes.” The Women Who Raised Me will come out March 27th on Blue Note Records. Â
