Mick Jenkins will see The Circus EP come out this Friday. The EP follows his 2018 Pieces Of A Man album. Jenkins was inspired by current events and had this to say: As a direct prelude to my forthcoming album, The Circus EP is a body of work about just that. “These days it’s very hard to look at the state of the world and popular culture and not see allegory that makes this metaphor our reality more often than not.”
The Circus has production from Black Milk, Hit-Boy and more. The video for “Carefree” debuted today. Jenkins goes on his next tour of the United States on January 16th.Â
