[youtube id=”05dZ58_6hSE”]Juliet July brings an ancient love story to life in her video for “Sunday Afternoon.” The Netherlands native is preparing her Palmtrees In The Mist EP for release next year and “Sunday Afternoon” is the first single from the project. The video was shot in South Africa and the Netherlands and the imagery goes back and forth between contemporary scenery and ancient Egyptian motifs. The concept of resurrection that was integral to the story of Osiris is implied among the period costumes. Palmtrees In The Mist will follow her 2018 Summer Rain EP.Â
