Steve Lacy’s solo album Apollo XXI comes out two years after Steve Lacy’s Demo. His first full-length effort is a brilliant walk through his imagination that is full of soul and self-reflectiveness without cliches of angst. The guitarist and producer for The Internet is stretching out from his home band with his latest release and his work with others. He just appeared on Vampire Weekend’s Father Of The Bride album and their video for “Sunflower.” Solange’s “Exit Scott (interlude)” from her current album also has Lacy on it.
