Jay-Z and Chance The Rapper are among the headliners for the Woodstock 50 music festival. It was 50 years ago when Woodstock took place in the Catskills Mountains and Jimi Hendrix performed his iconic version of the “Star Spangled Banner.” Hendrix’s performance was one moment that made the event a watershed occasion in pop culture. The 50th celebration will take place August-16-18th in Watkins Glen, New York. Imagine Dragons and The Black Keys are the other headliners at the festival that will also play host to Gary Clark Jr. Santana, who performed at the first one and more to be announced. For more information about the lineup and tickets see the Woodstock site.Â
