Lion Babe surprises with two new songs as the year comes to a close. “Get Into The Party Life” has the throwback soul sound of some of their earlier songs like “Honey Dew.” “Why” is obviously about a difficult relationship and it has a Caribbean flavor courtesy of the steel drum. Both songs will tide fans over until the duo releases their next album.Â
