Toro Y Moi Announces Outer Peace Album Shares Video For Freelance Single

Toro Y Moi is starting 2019 with his next album, Outer Peace. The artist spent a year in Oregon with nature and returned to Oakland, California inspired to create. Today he shares the video for the funky pop lead single “Freelance” directed by longtime collaborator Henry Israelson. Moi released a statement about Outer Peace in a press release:Â

“This record is a response to how disposable culture has become and how it affects creativity. While listening, you might pay attention or ignore — either way that’s ok, this is music for a creative mind.“

Outer Peace comes out January 18th and Toro Y Moi will tour the United States from November until winter of 2019.Â
