Petit Noir and Red Bull Music South Africa have collaborated to release the La Maison Noir visual album. The four-part film chronicles Petit Noir’s life growing up in The Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is also releasing the album La Maison Noir. Petite Noir gave more details about the album in a press release:Â
“The Congolese cosmogram represents a constant circular motion of the element that symbolizes rebirth. We all go through a rebirth every few years and this visual album is all about rebirth.”Â
The film contains a lot of symbolism in the colors worn which represent different elements of the earth and the constant walking is there to mimic the endless journey of life.Â
