Critics and fans were aware of certain omissions like her duets with Whitney Houston and Elton John but the compilation achieved platinum status and was nominated for a Best Female R&B Performance Grammy of which Franklin already had nine. The 37th Grammy Awards also bestowed a Lifetime Achievement Award on her in 1994. “A Deeper Love” was also used in the Whoopi Goldberg film Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit.
