The up and coming singer and her family of musicians signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation last year. They got their start when their parents founded the Boys and Girls Choirs of Detroit. A move to New Jersey and subsequent performances on New York City subway platforms, in Central Park and the stairs of the Met brought them to Jay-Z’s attention. Victory’s solo EP, It’s A New Dawn, was released last year.Â
