Rakim’s Tiny Desk concert band included Ali Shaheed Muhammad on bass and Adrian Younge on keyboards. The legendary emcee just appeared in Season 2 of Luke Cage performing “King’s Paradise” that was written by Muhammad and Younge. Rakim’s three-song set starts with “King’s Paradise” and he finishes with “Paid In Full” and “Know The Ledge.” The band’s jazz chops provided the perfect accompaniment to Rakim’s unshakeable cool.Â
