Vancouver’s Freeky P and Shaunic have an Afrobeat edit of Donald Glover’s “This Is America.” The former hosts the only Afrobeat night in the city called JYRATE and has supported The Weeknd, J.Cole, 2 Chainz and Tory Lanez. The edit adds another layer of culture to the song and gives Glover’s song the possibility of more meaning on top of the message about senseless gun violence in America.Â
