Watch the first trailer for the Whitney Houston documentary Whitney. Kevin Macdonald is the director of the film that has the blessing of Houston’s estate. Macdonald managed to get interviews with some of the people who were closest to the late singer as well as footage from home movies. There is one scene where Houston gives her raw opinion on Paula Abdul that has people talking about the trailer. But the real bombshell is the news that Houston’s cousin Dee Dee Warwick molested her as a child. Macdonald’s film was screened at Cannes and opens nationwide July 6th.
