Pimp is a new movie written and directed by Christine Crokos and it stars Keke Palmer as a lesbian hustler named Wednesday. It’s a love story set in the Bronx and Palmer learns about the world of pimping from her father who was a pimp.She follows in her father’s footsteps after he dies because she needs money to support her mother and girlfriend. The plot then becomes very dangerous and Wednesday has to save her girlfriend from a potentially fatal situation. Lee Daniels is executive producing the film that has been in development for seven years. Aunjanue Ellis, DMX, Vanessa Morgan, Edi Gathegi and Haley Ramm have starring roles in the film.Â
